About Esmeralda Colabone

Brazilian with Mediterrean roots, Esmeralda dances since the age of 4. Soloist, teacher, choreographer, competition judge, writer, producer, polyglot, mother, Esmeralda Colabone is one of the biggest names in the world of BellyDance / Sharqi / Classical Egyptian Dance today, having visited, taught and danced in 40 countries so far.

Esmeralda was the youngest Brazilian dancer to be accepted at La Maison de l'Artiste from Lebanon (Middle East entertainment/artist agency). From 2002 to 2014, Esmeralda built with this agency one of the biggest Brazilian careers, having one of the longest contracts in Tunisia as a foreign artist and being the first dancer to tour in North African area (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia).

Esmeralda ended her entertainment carrer in the Middle East as soloist in 2014. Soon after that, she released the "Enta Omri" video production that took the BellyDance global by storm, making her one of the most requested artist till this day. The Turban Lady, the Tunisian Treasure, one of the advocates for the Lebanese Style, the Cha Cha of the Nile performance that shook up the industry. 

In Brazil, Esmeralda directed her own school from 2016 till 2020 and is considered one of the most important Arabic Dance References in the country.

In 2024, Esmeralda started the celebration of her 25 years in the Arabic Dance scene with The Silver Tour that became highly requested worldwide, having to be  extented in 2025.
